In the year 2234, two centuries after spatial rifts tore reality apart and unleashed demon beasts upon Earth, humanity survives in isolated strongholds. This age, known as the Talent Era, has forced mankind to adapt through the cultivation of spirit Qi and the awakening of supernatural talents.

Wei Tian, orphaned at ten during a devastating beast tide, discovers on his fifteenth birthday that he possesses only "weak" cultivation talent—the lowest classification possible, forever barring him from advancing beyond the preliminary Martial Disciple rank. His dreams of avenging his parents seem forever out of reach.

But fate intervenes when Wei Tian undergoes a premature talent awakening, a process that nearly kills him. When he regains consciousness, a mysterious interface appears in his vision, revealing an unprecedented "Copy Talent" alongside his weak cultivation potential.

Unknown to Wei Tian, this unique ability will allow him to assimilate and copy bloodlines, talents, potentials, and cultivation techniques from others—bypassing his inherent limitations. While ordinary spiritualists with low-grade roots can only ever merge with a single beast, Wei Tian's Copy Talent will eventually enable him to transcend this restriction.

His journey takes an unexpected turn when he discovers the existence of demon spirits—rare energy entities found in the brain regions of only one or two in tens of thousands of demon beasts. These spirits can be absorbed by specialized practitioners called demon spiritualists, who merge with the beast's power and abilities.

As Wei Tian learns the forgotten arts of demon spiritualism and combines them with his Copy Talent, he begins an unprecedented ascension through the cultivation ranks. From an overlooked orphan with the lowest talent classification to a unique existence who can absorb the strengths of both humans and beasts, Wei Tian challenges the established hierarchy of the Talent Era—and perhaps holds the key to reclaiming Earth from the demons that stole it from humanity.
